I get really good pressure with the "pliers" mechanism. It definitely takes a bit of experimentation to determine the angle at which pressure is applied to parts of the body other than the neck, but the rolling balls provide a comfortable feel as you squeeze and release the pincer levers. The balls only rotate in the direction that the arms move in and out - I found myself wishing you could move perpendicular to the arms i.e. up and down, but I can imagine that would be difficult to design. lots of different massage tools and sticks, this one definitely offers better pressure and movement than most. But not very durable, I hope it lasts a long time.
