We ordered just before a snow storm this winter. They came on the day of the blizzard. My daughter was so excited because they remind her of Everest from Paw Patrol. I ordered her a size up next year thinking she could just wear thicker socks if needed. I was also worried if they would be high enough. You were great on both occasions. You can overlap the velcro tab to make it tighter if needed and it will stay in place. We rode sleds as soon as she got them and they've held up great with no complaints! We can only recommend it!
