My roommate had a pelican and they are top notch. I have Nanux. They are stronger and the locking handles are safer and easier to use than the Pelican. Whenever I open the Pelican, I feel like I'll snap a nail or scratch myself because the latches are too hard to pull. With the Nanuk it closes tightly but there is another simpler clasp that you press which makes locking very easy. I have a feeling a kid could safely snap and open the Nanucks but not the Pelican. I often have to bang the handle on the pelicans to bring them closer. I should never do that with nanuks. I also dropped this case with the camera and lenses and they are perfect.
