I needed a cover for my dog's bed as the bed was not waterproof. This product came with two (2) lids; a waterproof coating for the interior and a non-waterproof exterior coating. This listing does not include a bed (please read folks; anyone who bought this item thinking it came with a bed clearly didn't read the description properly). The waterproof inner shell is really waterproof! Although the zip is not waterproof, liquid spilled on the zip can leak inside. I bought a large gray micro suede (48" x 29"). The cage for my dog is 42 inches x 28.5. "W x 30.4" H. I was able to fit my dog's memory foam bed, which measures 41" L x 26.75" W x 3" H, into the large cover, but it fits very narrow. This leads me to believe that the width of the Large is not really 29" as my bed is much smaller than the bedspread. There is extra fabric on the ends as the bed is only 41" compared to the 48" bedspread long; that doesn't bother me. I managed to get the bed into the bedspread by folding the bed in half, stuffing inwards and then trying to level it as best as possible. It fits with a slight bulge on the sides Color is gray (I checked the bed with a cover before washing so it doesn't fit well as it doesn't shrink in the wash) My dog doesn't dig or chew on the bedding so can However, I cannot judge the durability of the covers.
