Review on Long-Lasting Reusable Arctic ICE Tundra Series Purple Ice Pack by George Kapoor

Revainrating 5 out of 5

That is amazing! Cold as advertised!

Seriously , I'm shocked at them justifying their ads. I've played with various regular ice packs and used dry ice for camping (although it's still not THAT cold) and I'm just plain impressed. We used a very thin-walled soft refrigerator to pack for vacation travel. 7:00 sat on the floor in the middle row just above the exhaust. When I opened the cooler, the ice pack was still half frozen, with FROST on it, and the sliced fruit in the bag directly below was half frozen (not how it started). So in all this time the package not only did not thaw (a lot of space), but also managed to freeze someone (absorbed a lot of heat). Again, this is not dry ice. When you need that much cooling power, just one will do. But if you want things to stay cold and dry for a long time, this is amazing. I bought small, medium and large. Now I'm tempted to try the XL for use in a camping fridge along with a smaller dry ice block. IDEA: Instead of stocking dry ice in the fridge, use excess dry ice to refreeze an ice pack! Hmmmmm Should save me from accidentally freezing things that shouldn't be freezing.
