Wide voltage range! Some users who complain about the performance may be using 12V. I can tell you that the light output is pretty good at 50V and the beam is tightly focused, not a spotlight. Small, not expensive, looks durable. So far these look great. This is for a powered toy so I don't want the lights to draw a lot of power. I didn't want to use a voltage rectifier to lower the voltage because they waste energy as heat. The switch is a nice bonus, as are multiple lighting modes, including a flash. So far my only complaint is that the wires are a bit flimsy, probably 20-22 gauge so FYI.
