I wore these socks on a plane for 20 hours. They slipped on fairly easily, put good pressure on my ankles, didn't pinch my toes, weren't too bulky for my shoes and most importantly stayed right where I put them on my calves without cutting in the way. . . After the flight I didn't have an ounce of my usual swelling! After 2 days of vacation I twisted both ankles and when I saw them swell I remembered my socks. I put them on and with ice, a night's sleep and elevation, I was able to walk in the morning! I wore them for a few more days and never had a problem with excessive swelling. Better than compression bandages! Needless to say I would highly recommend these to anyone who needs thin, comfortable and well-performing compression stockings for travel or anytime!
