I bought two and am so happy about it. Well designed and attractive. Bottles are supported horizontally when placed so that the body of the bottle is on each hinge. However, when you put the neck of the bottle in the front loop, the bottles stand at a nice angle. Both positions protect the cork, I just prefer the slanted one. Attractive anywhere in the house. It wobbles a bit (slightly) even on a flat surface when empty, but add a few bottles of wine and it's stable and doesn't wobble. I haven't figured out how to attach the handle on top so it stands like it does in the picture but it doesn't look weird lying down so I'll leave it as is. It comes fully assembled. It has plastic protections on the legs and comes with extra accessories to ensure it doesn't scratch anything you put it on. It's surprisingly compact for storing six bottles. Now that I've installed them and filled them with wine, I see other possible places to place them in my space-constrained home. Looks great with traditional or modern decor. More than expected and very satisfied!
