I was really excited to try Fiio's new TWS. Let me just get that out of the way. If you're on ChiFi or the cheaper end, this is for you. The sound amplification is excellent, the fit is comfortable. Well, for those audiophiles or those at a higher level, I'd steer clear. The main reason is the narrower soundstage you hear compared to a wired connection. You will definitely lose definition from high frequencies. Connection was easy on my iPhone 12 via Bluetooth. It will automatically connect if you remove it from the case after the first association. However, the Fiio control app is useless when used with an iPhone. It displays Fiio L and Fiio R but can only connect from one side, although sound goes through both headphones. (TWS+ is not supported) Tap control is very simple, wish it was a tap instead of a button.
