I spend about four to eight hours each week in heavily chlorinated water and have tried every known chlorine remover/neutralizer. It's the only one that doesn't contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), which dries my hair worse than chlorine. SLS is an additive that makes things fluffy and foamy. Most Americans are used to (pun intended) that suds is a measure of cleaning performance. This is where the confusion in many reviews comes into play. To be clear, this does not lather but removes the chlorine. After that I use some shampoo conditioner. I've been using this product for three weeks and it works great for me.
