I was skeptical how well any of these would work. I moved into a townhouse where the previous tenants smoked. When I came to inspect it it was painted and refurbished which masked the smell. I started turning it around in different rooms as I walked during the day. The improvement was gradual but noticeable. After a few weeks the smell of smoke was almost gone. The area of my townhouse is about 1200 square meters. feet, and the 5000 mg dosage was enough for me. They are not joking when they say that all living things must be removed. I once accidentally left a succulent in the kitchen and it died immediately. Don't leave it on when you're home and air your apartment before you go inside. It leaves a residual odor that I can best describe as bleach-like. You really need to open the windows after using it and the smell of ozone will be gone in a few hours.
