I wish there was a zero star option for this product. The description says 'wood' as the material which led me to believe it was solid pine - as pine is a very inexpensive wood the price seemed reasonable as this cabinet is made in China. Well, the panels turned out to be very cheap looking chipboard, the open sides of which were bonded with synthetic material that imitated the texture of pine. That said, I understand particle board technically contains 'wood', but stating that the product is made of wood and omitting detail looks like an attempt to intentionally mislead the buyer. Speaking of assembly. 14 panels are normal, but 196 (!) hardware parts? (yes, 196 - my friend did the math just out of curiosity). We both enjoy assembling furniture and aren't intimidated by the amount of work. But this one has definitely crossed the line and is going back to the seller. Last but not least, the seller does not make it easy to return an item after unpacking it. Everything is packed very tightly and it takes quite a while to pack all those boards, fasteners and countless foam rods and plastic inserts back into the box.
