bowls were smaller than expected and looked as pictured. It appears to be made of Dollar Store plastic. I'm not sure why they advertise stainless steel bowls because they don't. The colors of the shells in person are significantly less vivid than in the photos and the colors have faded in places. I like spoons, but they're not as big/deep as soup spoons should be. Even $16 can be overpriced for this set and I ended up paying about $28 after dropping the price from about thirty.
