The right tool for the right job.
I am a retired mechanic and have changed many fuel pumps with no problems. The fuel pump on my wife's 2010 Mercedes made me speak Chinese (and I don't speak Chinese). I've tried several methods as well as an adjustable snap ring tool. He sits in a well and is difficult to reach. I finally bought this little gem and voila! It happened so easily I couldn't believe it. Try it. It costs money.
