The tools are good. The box they come in is in poor condition.

Good tools. Actually, I don't have any problems with any of the tools. You fulfill all my goals. My only criticism is the packaging they come in. Every time I open the box all the bushings, screws and pliers fall out. Create a box for tools to stay in without falling out of Revain and you'll get 5 stars.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad

Perfect for my needs around the house

I am a single woman and I think this tool set would be perfect for my daily basic needs around the house. I wanted a good set but not too big and I think it has everything I will ever need for small builds and other jobs I do. Maybe now I can stop asking another handyman for help. Rschunimagu

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great little tool kit

I bought this for a holiday home. This is very handy for small projects around the house. I would say that the only practically useless tool in the set is the razor/knife. It has one of those blades that pops out and breaks, so you always have a new section; However, the blade doesn't stay in place at all and immediately retracts when you use it.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • little things

great for small repairs in the apartment

i recently moved into an apartment by myself and my roommates always had tools, so i've never had to buy my own tool set. This is ideal for small repairs around the apartment or assembling things around the apartment. The tools make a pretty solid impression. My only complaint is the small bolts that always fall out of the tool box when opening. Everything else worked as it should.

Pros
  • solid construction
Cons
  • nothing to worry about

Poorly made from defective parts

This arrived today. The first thing I used was a tape measure and it broke. The lock that holds the band in place and prevents it from backing out doesn't work and the band itself is very flimsy. This means that if the tape measure inevitably rebounds without warning, it will buckle and tear, rendering it unable to measure accurately. It's also dangerous as it cut my arm when the lock suddenly broke open.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Reliability

Good tool in the worst case scenario in the world - not worth $43

I hate that cheap plastic case so much it's hard to consider anything else. The case is made of plastic. The loop is made of bent plastic (will break over time). The valves are plastic and are so loose that they can accidentally break. The base area is too loose and they fall out every time the case is closed. The hex wrench area is too loose and they fall out every time the case is closed. Oh yes, it also has some tools. In a terrifying, maddening, devastating case of OCD.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Security

Could be better but at a good price

Maybe the cheapest tool set but by no means the worst. legal wrench. It has some things you might never use. It also has some items that are unusual for this type of sets and prove to be very useful, such as the mini level. This item is perfect for leveling a new washer and dryer. The quality of the instruments is mostly mediocre. They work but are so bad you don't want to use them. None have broken yet, but it could happen. For the money, this isn't a bad option, but there are better quality…

Great set, bad tool.

Not quite sure what I expected from Revain's cheap tool kit, but I was hoping for more from a billion dollar company. A saw for one doesn't get much better than a single-blade craft baby saw for the road. The hammer looks the most spectacular, the screwdriver sets are great, the keys have strong springs on the cheap body. My razor in particular was rusty right out of the box and honestly hoping for more of everything else, wrench 4 from each system but essentially the same size. The wire…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
