Review on 🐾 ArGo Small Action Petpack Carrier by Teafco by Christine Vargas

My biggest issue with this product is that it really lacks technical accuracy in terms of HUMAN comfort (although it LOOKS comfortable) considering the maximum weight of the animal. indicates what 20 pounds. My dog is 15-16 lbs and it was the combination of the stated weight limit and the fit that caused the product to fall off. Didn't fit me well - even with the straps adjusted to essentials and both waist and hips tightened - the shoulder straps were still too long and the backpack hung heavily on my body, and wearing a backpack resulted in a lot of sustained Back pain even after I stopped using the product. Additionally, pulling the straps to their shortest position caused them to chafe the neck and upper shoulders. Another negative is that there is no rigid frame inside the backpack that can support a 15lb dog (I would say any backpack is rated for 10+lbs). Pound requires an aluminum frame to maintain its shape and structure) so the backpack changed shape, squeezing, and the dog was actually sitting on the corner inside the backpack instead of directly on the floor. I suppose this backpack might work well, A., on a person who is at least 5'7" tall and/or has a longer torso, or has significant torso bulk such that the straps are not tight, and B. with a dog.that's 10 lbs.or less.ideally much less.I can imagine the small space inside is very nice and cozy but ventilated and roomy for a 6 lb dog and comfortable for a human.The shape change also caused the corners of the zipper (whether part of the fanny pack was attached or not) to protrude painfully into the back of my thighs.This wasn't a problem if the package was empty;again, a backpack might be good will work if your dog is much smaller than mine.overall this is a pretty light backpack for its bulk and a pretty cool look.the gray part is weird cheap vinyl though.think it would have been canvas or Cordura and feel better. Removable inner padding is also vinyl (for waterproof?), which is redundant. I think the dog will be more comfortable on a soft fleece floor; It is not an air carrier and is not designed for this type of travel, so accidents should not be a problem.
