There is no way to clean these strips, including bleach.

I like the straps but the pins break easily and can't be cleaned. I tried baking soda as suggested, it didn't help. I even tried bleaching, that didn't work either. Also, they got dirty after just a week of wearing. Sitting at home and doing nothing to get them dirty. Another pin broke. I need spare pens. So far two have broken.
