I bought this when the toilet paper shortages started everywhere in COVID. Before buying I read reviews and negatives that said they tear easily. I didn't think this would happen if people didn't leave them on, so turn them off after each use so they last longer. Well I'm a very careful person and when I installed it, which was easy to do, I always turned it off after each use. 3 months later and as you can see in the picture it broke and it was leaking all over my bathroom. It turns out that the metal on the outside of the hose is bonded to the plastic on the inside of the handle. This plastic broke because it's cheap plastic and when it did it exposed the rubber hose inside which is VERY thin rubber. The broken plastic punctured the rubber hose and it leaked everywhere. Even though I had the hose valve turned off, all the water in the hose itself is still there and under pressure. I think the plastic broke due to the pressure inside. In hindsight, after closing the valve, you should also drain any remaining water, as the cheap flimsy rubber and plastic inside the handle is too weak and of poor quality to withstand any pressure. I would stay away from that and get a higher quality hose system. Parts other than the hose looked decent though.
