These shoes are sturdy enough for a 6-year-old but stylish enough to wear with an outfit. I wanted something that could be worn the way a lot of little boys dress these days, with khaki cargo pants and a polo shirt. My grandson loved the shoes and wanted to wear them when he tried them on!
