Life on the lap pool is much easier.

I received this a few weeks ago. My typical pool workout is 30 minutes or more - over 1,500 meters. I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing this. Covers 3 areas. Interface, landing and control and use.1. Interface. I'm a network engineer by trade, so I'm used to very confusing, hard-to-use electronics. THAT'S EASY. I have understood. Plugged it into my Windows PC and left it there for a while to make sure it was charged. The device will appear as a USB storage device. Drag and drop MP3 files onto it and you're good to go. I haven't tried anything fancy like playlists. Random game is enough for me. I uploaded 2 gigs of music. The transfer rate is USB 2.0 so not as fast as I would like but it works. Most of the music I have is encoded at 128 bits, but some are higher. There doesn't seem to be a problem between the different levels of coding. I charge it once a week and it works great.2. fit and control. There are three buttons. On/Off/Mode, Forward/Up, Reverse/Volume Down. Straight ahead. The device sits very comfortably on the back of the glasses and is not noticeable due to its weight. 0.63 grams. Something really needs to be done about the headphones. And the wood design is best for caulking, but it can be inconvenient. I highly recommend that before attempting to swim with them, you check which pair of headphones will fit best. My ear canals aren't exactly the same size and I had to do a bit of work to get the best fit. Also, when the earplugs are wetted first, they are easier to insert and seal better in the ear canal. ATTENTION! Headphones can become loose in the ear. NO PANIC. It may be helpful to have tweezers handy to aid in removal. This has NOT happened to me. The earbuds are snug and fit well. I highly recommend wiping them down with fresh water after swimming in the pool and wiping the headphones down with some sort of disinfectant. Music playback is great for what it is. This is NOT an audiophile headset like Shure, B&O or even Bose. They swim in the water, which greatly affects the acoustics. However, the bass was surprisingly deep and the highs were very clear. Use. Like I said. Check suitability before attempting to use it in training. You need to be very careful tucking the wires under the goggle strap. I use the manual S method with the player plug pointing down towards my neck. I swim freestyle. Somersaults are possible BUT I hope you're better at it than me. I suspect that a well-executed turn will yield better results than my clumsy attempts. Even if you're not careful with your punches, your exhaust and the movement of your shoulders can affect how well the headphones stay closed during a workout. Conclusion. Because the money is passed on, BEST MONEY I've spent on gadgets in a long, long time! Very impressive. Simple, elegant and easy to use. GOOD PRODUCT!

Pros
  • absolute legend
