Review on MSI Pulse GL76 I7 12700H RTX3070 by Micha Kumicki ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is really good, I'm glad I bought it.

I took it for work and leisure as a mobile workstation. I put the battery in a saving mode with charging up to 60-80%%, but did not measure the life. It is convenient, it pulls work tasks, but there are complaints about ergonomics. Has pros: 1) New - the fly did not sit. 2) Powerful CPU, working dockers spin very fast, the Linux kernel is completely assembled in 23 minutes. 3) Powerful GPU, games fly. 4) Good and quiet cooling, which can be untwisted to the full by hot key. 5) High-quality assembly - no backlash and no creaks. 6) A balanced set of USB ports: there are few type-C devices yet, and there is only one. 7) Good room for expanding disks and memory. Cons: 1) Quiet and not very good sound. 2) Power button integrated with the main keyboard. 3) Function keys are not divided into groups, it is difficult to use by touch. 4) There are no separate cursor keys (Home / End / PgUp / PgDown), some games do not perceive the keys on the NumPad as an adequate replacement. 5) Too new in some aspects. Linux does not support the backlight control of this keyboard, even the OpenRGB program has blocked this feature due to compatibility issues. To turn off the backlight, I had to buy Windows 10 separately, since there are only drivers for 10 and 11.
