I have purchased similar clips that sell at Home Depot for 99 cents each. And they appear to be true to size. However, when they arrived, the difference was significant. These shells are very light and are actually more like clothespins. Suitable only for applications where light pressure is required. The metal is very thin and the springs are not preloaded. They just don't offer value for the money spent. If you are looking for clamps that are suitable for gluing, then this is not the right choice.
