I use several glue sticks in my party decorations/design shop. These glue sticks are crystal clear with a light blue tinge out of the bag. They also melt and remain transparent when dry. I use a high temperature mini glue gun. I leave the glue gun on for up to 6 hours a day while I'm at work. Those glue sticks didn't last. After 1 hour the sticks in the chamber will begin to melt and will jam the stick as it is inserted into the part of the gun that heats and melts it. Every other use, I had to use a Cricut pick (sharp and pointed) to scoop up the drips of melted glue that had pooled under the stick before I could get into the chamber. Otherwise, when pressed, the stick would not go into the chamber, or if I didn't notice a jam, the glue stick would begin to bend. It's a real pain to work. I also lost a lot of glue through melting and jamming in the chamber. I'm back with my regular mini glue sticks that I buy in the hobby lobby.
