Despite mentioning that this tablet is slow, buggy, etc., I haven't experienced any of these issues with mine. As mentioned in the CNET review, there's a slight hiccup when I'm downloading something while trying to do other tasks, but that's when the app finished downloading, and it happens to me on other devices. A second of hesitation leading to retyping a word is not enough to classify a device as "slow" or "stuck". The stand is phenomenal; I can sit facing any direction. I find that posing it slightly angular and resting on the keyboard (I used Microsoft Word for this) gives me an immersive typing experience. The screen is great. Netflix and YouTube streaming is smooth and the sound is superb for this tablet. You can go to Dolby Atmos and change your settings in favor of music and movies, or tweak them to your liking. I haven't tried it yet, but didn't find it necessary because I liked the basic settings. The colors this camera produces are amazing. It captures light even in the dark and accurately reflects it back, and it has an impressive little editing app built-in. Also, the camera rotation is very smooth and very cool. During the video chat I was able to show my mom the whole room I was sitting in without getting up. This tablet is quick and easy to use. Applications like MS Word work great; I was able to type smoothly and realized that I never want to take my laptop out again. I've attached photos from when I first got it (orange background), post settings and two different poses with MS PowerPoint and MS Word active. to show their functionality. I don't know about Telltale games and other high-performance apps, but at least one game I've played (Sims FreePlay, which I always try on a new device to see if it works) ran pretty smoothly. The battery lasts a long time. I charged it yesterday and it's still full after running YouTube, the Kindle app, Sims FreePlay, and regular web browsing throughout the day. Overall, this tablet looks good, feels good in the hand and is comfortable to use. I readily admit that some have issues with their devices that render the product useless and/or frustrating, but I bought mine new to be on the safe side and to make sure I didn't have any user protection issues or previous damage had, and for what it's worth, it's more than worth the price.
