The first set I received was homemade with my little one and it ripped after drying. I contacted the company to see if I could get some clay to fill the crack and they sent me a brand new kit instead. Told me it most likely ripped from not kneading the clay long enough. This could very well be the reason, because this clay is quite hard and it is not very easy to knead it for five minutes. So next time I'll ask my husband to help me by making sure we all do five minutes together. Creating prints with two people was also a lot easier. The second set came out flawless and I had enough clay left over to fill in the cracks on the first. Now I have two frames to hang. Customer service was excellent and much appreciated with the new kit. These kits work great if you follow the instructions carefully, especially regarding mixing times.
