It works, but you have to be very careful.
On the first try, the SIM card slipped out when the card adapter was inserted into the SIM card slot. I had to use a sharpening knife to pull the adapter out of the phone slot (cut off the top edge). On the second try (new adapter) I had to push the SIM card back in with a small screwdriver when it started slipping out again, but this time it worked. Glad I bought three packs. So it works, but you have to be very gentle and take your time.
