Great for highlighting
I love these pins! When you first get them it takes a while before you get the gel ink, but once you do you really have control over how thick you want the ink to go. I mainly use them for highlights in my drawings. Once dry, they work well with alcohol-based markers and pens. I've also used them on black paper and they show up well. I had to layer a bit more on top of the graphite because it tends to get cloudy. I'll look at colored pencils and maybe some other types of pencils. I definitely recommend it.
