Review on ๐Ÿ’“ Beurer PM25 Heart Rate Monitor: Real-time Monitoring in Silver/Black by Barbara Grska แ Œ

Don't buy it, it's not what it should be.

There is something to compare. I have been using an inexpensive Chinese heart rate monitor for 3 years and was pleased with its functionality: the pulse shows very accurately, the icon flashes for each heartbeat (required in the presence of arrhythmia) and instantly recalculates the pulse readings - it is convenient to watch the dynamics of its change when changing load. There is a full stopwatch with split mode. But the chest strap broke. After a short search, a Beurer PM25 was ordered from an online store and delivered, I did not find detailed reviews on its work before, I chose it according to advertising parameters in the belief that everything is more modern, more convenient and cooler in it. In it, everything turned out to be not so and much worse. In real life, it looks more dull than in the photo in the advertisement, with larger dimensions, compared to the Chinese, the display numbers are smaller and the contrast is worse, a hard strap, the buttons for 4 days of operation do not work as clearly as they originally did, suspicions appear. The contact zones of the sensor belt are larger and ribbed, noticeably more uncomfortable. But the most unpleasant: the icon DOES NOT blink in time with the heartbeats, it just blinks by itself and indicates the presence of a connection with the sensor, the pulse shows exactly, but recalculates it in an average of 5-6 seconds, the dynamics are not visible. There is no full-fledged stopwatch, this is the same watch for recording training time with the ability to start / stop. In the "results" the pulse data may be interesting, but the calculation of burned calories and fat may be necessary for someone, but not for me. Disappointed with purchase, waste of money. Although, given the compatibility of the sensors, I still use this sensor with a Chinese heart rate monitor.

Different pros: The previous one lasted 11 years. Provides all the necessary information Some cons: With a slight pressure of the elastic band on the chest, skips pulse ticks and shows incorrect values

Pros: excellent heart rate measurement. no need to wet the sensor, put it on and immediately got a pulse reading setup is simple Cons: for this money - everything is fine
