Review on Phanteks Eclipse P600S Hybrid Silent And Performance ATX Chassis -Tempered Glass by Isaac Maze

Current Favorite PC Cases

I own 3 PC cases and the Phanteks P600S is by far my favorite (the previous two were Corsair 600 and 780T). Build quality is fantastic, with little to no flex in the case, which is pretty impressive considering the entire side panel is tempered glass. There's a slight bend in the front where you mount the fans as the metal is pretty thin there, but that hasn't been an issue so far and wasn't an issue during fan installation either. some weight but easy to pick up and remove from table/floor to move as needed. When it comes to the materials used in the case, it definitely creates a premium feel. There's also plenty of room for a heatsink/fan in the case and plenty of room for cable routing on the back (1 inch thick). The PSU shroud is also quite roomy, but I recommend routing the power cables before installing the PSU, otherwise connecting the cables may cause problems. Front and top are removable for extra airflow. I removed my front one for maximum suction, but built a ghetto lego leg to raise the top plate about 2" off the top of the case so my top fans can still vent properly (see image). I also really appreciate the attention from Phanteks. to detail little things that some other case manufacturers seem to miss. For example, the P600S comes in a small plastic box with all the case screws, a GPU anti-slack bracket that can be installed behind the PCIE clips, and a well-designed and easy-to-read manual that's also printed. on glossy paper for added durability. My main gripe would be the four sliding Phanteks plastic panels that replace the plastic grommets or cable management bar. They look silly and seem like a waste of space. It looks like Phanteks have solved this problem with their new Enthoo Luxe 2 as the plastic covers in this case come with SSD mounting holes pre-installed.
