People complain that their circular knife doesn't fit in the holes, so they give the Cut A Round tool a bad review. It's important to hold the cutter properly - straight up and down, perpendicular to the plastic rotary cutter and the fabric. Holding the disc cutter any other way will result in the blade being at the wrong angle and corners not being round. I have used a 45mm Fiskars "Soft Grip Comfort Loop" and a 28mm Olfa "Classic Stick" spinning knife and both worked when held vertically. Works great for me! Make sure your blades are sharp.
