LOVE! β™₯οΈπŸ’’πŸ‘° on wedding accessories

Exactly what I wanted! When I was looking for my wedding dress, I fell in love with the round veil and found a heavily embellished veil that was supposed to cost around $1,000 (basically another dress). Knowing I didn't want to spend that much, there had to be another option. After researching many stores and online, including Revain and Etsy, I decided to find a good base and beautify myself to achieve a similar look. Tulle is tulle after all - it's the handwork that makes the veil unique. I've tried many Revain products and finally found this to work! Now let me say I've been looking for something special that will narrow my window a bit. I wanted blush (a little on the face for a revealing effect) but not where the front and back are where there are two separate parts. I also wanted a raw edge because I found that anything with a hard edge (ribbon, pencil, beads) drew attention away from the dress itself. Also, many of the veils are gathered at the top of the head which creates a very puffy and "puffy" effect which, for me at least, created a lot of creases in the fabric, which once again detracts from the dress. It took me many tries to find this type of veil which can be called many different things including round or veil. This allows the fabric to be a single solid piece without tearing and sit softly on your head without ruffles - very graceful! When I stumbled upon this I was so pleasantly surprised for many reasons: 1. The fabric was very soft, unlike many options I've tried, this fabric was so light and delicate and looked very high quality. Many others looked cheap and looked like mosquito nets. The shape fits perfectly πŸ‘Œ The raw edge doesn't bother the dress. Even if my dress is just fancy - with any dress (beads, lace or whatever), I personally think that an expensive dress simply takes away most of the facets.3. The equipment was of good quality. Many veils have a cheap plastic comb that's hot glued to the fabric that's already peeling off, which I've found. It had a metal comb neatly sewn in. Very high quality to ensure proper placement.4. Real Ivory I had a hard time finding real ivory, like my dress, and not creamy white like many ivories end up. For me at least perfect! The only reason I was nervous about this veil was because I saw in the comments that others said the tulle was too thick and difficult to see through, but I didn't feel it at all. I think a lot of the tulle options are just very sheer due to the lower weave/quality (which creates that coarse mesh effect). But it all depends on what you like and what you are looking for. I liked the thickness. I have provided some photos for reference of the fabric of my dress and the first time I tried it on to show different angles. I also started decorating the veil with Swarovski crystals for a $1,000 original look. Will update the photos over time and starting today!
