Review on Illuminate Your Space with 65.5 Feet of Smart LED Strip Lights – Perfect Lighting Solution for Any Setting! by Tania Parks

2/5 - Product not as pictured or described

Firstly the product I received was a WrrLight branded product, the instruction manual was GUSODOR branded and that companies listed here GOADROM. My advice: I ordered a 65' set, but if you want this I would advise you to buy two 32' from another company.1. The presence of only one controller greatly complicates the task. The light gets dimmer with more connectors per strip, so you have to connect all four strips to the same controller, which limits you because the power cord is very short.2. The HappyLight app that comes with the product is very buggy and doesn't work well with the iPhone. The music function crashed every time I tried to use it except uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and yet it only worked the first time. They say there is music sync but the speaker on the controller only picks up VERY close sound and they say to use your phone's mic but the response is terrible and it doesn't work with headphones.3. There are no instructions. Literally nothing tells you how to do anything other than connect to the app and some general warnings. The answers here and other reviews state that the product can short out easily, so without guidance, be careful. There are some positive aspects. The lights are bright and the accompanying app changes colors, but the controller is very cheap and the remote is very unresponsive and doesn't display colors properly, but overall the app works. All in all, if you're looking for some lights to light up your room it will get the job done, just don't expect many options from a single controller. I would suggest looking in the attachments for your chosen light sources, many of them are a little sketchy and they are the same thing just different names.

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
