Genuine quality part

Fixed fuel cap indicator light on my 2010 Escape. I tried cleaning the gas tank first but the bulb stayed. Replaced the original with this one and there was no light for a couple of weeks. The original part lasted 170,000, this one is supposed to last another 170,000.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not sure

Quick and easy on engines and engine parts

The replacement on a 2010 Ford Escape 4 cylinder took only a few minutes. I probably spent more time getting my tools, fender cover and feather duster and then cleaning up than actually doing the job. The hose, cable connector and two 8mm screws are easily accessible. The item fit perfectly. A replacement at a local store costs me six times as much.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Useless functions

Fits 2010 Ford Escape V6 3.0 liter

This is an exact replacement part for my 2010 Ford Escape V6 3.0 liter 3.0 liter. Very good price and the product was delivered quickly. The installation is a little difficult because the item is in a confined space; hard to get my thumbs on the little screws to remove them. Unfortunately, this new part did not solve my EVAP emissions problem. Still DTC P0456: EVAP Emissions Small Leak.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Compatible

So happy because it saves me money!

This was the part I was looking for after my 2010 Ford Fusion SEL engine light came on > fault code P0456 and P1450. I used Revain's ODB reader and also Torque Pro. I went to YouTube and followed the instructions to replace. Until the engine light came back. The total cost for these codes was about $50 and you can keep the ODB reader and Torque Pro software. Love it. Thank you YouTube, Revain and Play Store!

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • No paint required

Always buy OE! Suitable for engines and engine parts

This is a great genuine Ford part. Fits perfectly. To make sure I fixed the exhaust emissions issue, I cleared the codes. It took about 3 or 4 day start-run cycles. The gas cap code is the last to be cleared after a faulty voltage on the purge solenoid. I tested the coil resistance of this part against the original which I think stuck. It was a little lower, so a little more current was required for each pulse. That's exactly what you want in this situation with the given code.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Worked great (code P144A)

drove my mother's 2010 Ford Escape after seeing the drop in mpg and experiencing loss of power and bumps under light acceleration. The CEL came on and the scanner showed code P144A. It sits right in front of the engine and offers plenty of room to work; A few screws and plastic tubes and all was good. Less than 5 minutes from start to finish. After a few months and several thousand kilometers everything is still running smoothly. I always try to use Motorcraft on our Fords and ACDelco on our…

Corrects my code P0455

My 2010 Ford Escape reported a code P0455 - Large evaporator system leak and also reported a loose gas cap. After researching online, I found that this could be caused by various issues. First I tried to clean the whole area of the fuel tank, then I did the gas nozzle insertion trick (insert and remove fuel tank funnel about 20 times). Each time I deleted the code but it came back after a few days. I finally bought this canister purge valve and the code didn't come back (it's been over two…

This part has already paid for itself!

A while back I had a psomething or other trouble code on my 2010 Ford Fusion that was causing the check engine light to come on. After some research, this was the cheapest (and most likely) part that caused this code. After watching a few YouTube tutorials on replacing this part - they were all on the V6, not the I-4 I have - I went and found this to be one of the easiest parts to replace. This part regulates the gas supply to the engine and fills the cylinders a little. It cost me about…

Fixed fuel tank gauge and engine lights on 2010 Fusion

I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SE 2.5L. I have had repeated problems with the Check Fuel Fill Inlet gauge and more recently the Check Engine gauge. My code reader said code P0457. The valve is located in the front center under the hood. It attaches to the vacuum line, electrical connector, and two 8mm screws. This couldn't be easier to fix. The lights might stay on after the repair until the car starts, so I cleared the codes manually and it's been clean ever since. It was a very easy fix for me…

CHEAP VAPOR CANISTER PURGE VALVE FIXES EVAP SYSTEM LEAK PROBLEMS

I have a 2010 Fusion and have had problems with the CEL for the past few years. Sometimes I could get the code, sometimes not, but the problem always appeared in winter and then disappeared as the weather got warmer. For this reason, I did not immediately replace the purge valve, although circumstantial evidence seemed to indicate so. In the last month or so (June) the CEL came on again and persisted (after resetting). The codes always indicated leaks in the evaporator system (0455). After…
