I rarely write reviews the day after receiving an item but in this case I make an exception as it can be months before I need to use it. I bought it as a generator tent, not a shelter. The tent is very well made from durable materials. The ease of setup cannot be overstated. Mine literally set itself up while playing around with the instructions. Removal is also easy, once you understand the process, the instructions for doing so were less clear. It took me a few tries to get it right, but it will be a very short process from now on. I have a Predator 2000 Inverter Generator and was concerned that the heat from the exhaust could melt or ignite the fabric. I tested the exhaust heat before trying it in a tent. At 6 inches it was hot but bearable. At 10 inches it was a bit warm inside, and at 12 inches I didn't feel warm at all. I installed the generator in my tent and ran it for 45 minutes with no problems. (WARNING: I LIVE FULL-TIME IN A VAN AND I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO CHECK THE TEMPERATURE ACCURATELY. IF YOU THINKING ABOUT BUYING THIS TENT I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU GET ACCURATE TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS FROM YOUR OWN GENERATOR. A strong door cover would protect the door adequately protect ) rain when I wanted to leave the door partially open for ventilation. Simply fitting the rain cover upside down will solve this problem if it is a problem at all. I am delighted with this product. Easy to use, well designed and many times cheaper than a dedicated tent. Five stars without hesitation!
