This is such a simple product but it really helped free up counter space without overcomplicating things. I really like the idea that my paper towels can be tucked away and out of the way. I live in an apartment so I have very little counter space and I can't screw things to cabinets or walls either. My paper towels, hanging on the inside of my closet door under the sink, saved them from taking up valuable counter space. When I first looked at this product I wasn't sure if it was a good idea. I thought the paper towels under the sink were too heavy for me when trying to multitask in the kitchen. It's definitely not like I actually have a product and see how well it works, it's very easy for me to get hold of them when needed. I was also concerned that if I tugged to get the paper towel out too quickly, the roller would slip off too easily. It turns out to hold the whole reel pretty tight and I can't even seem to phase a quick pull. I noticed in one of the negative reviews a few years ago that someone said their standard roll of paper towels didn't go with this product. Well, at first I thought that applied to me too, but I found that my kitchen roll was slightly oval so I played around with it until it was round and after that it fitted perfectly. Definitely a great addition to any kitchen that is short on countertop space.
