I've spent the last 2 weeks on the snowy trails and mountains of Alaska, traveling in 5-12 feet of snow. These socks were the best purchase I made in preparation for this trip. I couldn't go hiking for more than 5-6 hours with these waterproof socks. I bought 2 pairs and rotated them for 2 weeks. This allowed me to spend more time outdoors without having to worry about every step I took to avoid getting my feet wet. You are worth your money! I often get cold feet and toes so I wear another pair of regular cotton socks underneath with waterproof hiking boots for added protection. I highly recommend them based on my experience for all winter activities.
