Review on INSPIRON SPECIAL REPLACEMENT LAPTOP Display by Robert Ducki

My laptop screen mysteriously developed a black spot in the center after I let my 3 year old daughter watch videos on it unsupervised. I purchased this replacement and followed the instructions for my laptop model that I found on YouTube. The video was only 10 minutes long and it took me 90 minutes. The laptop booted up and everything worked great the first time. I can't see the difference in quality between this screen and the standard screen. With my model there was only one variant from the video, the keyboard had an extra 4-pin cable, possibly a backlight. I made a note of which end is on the cable as there was no obvious guide and the keyboard + backlight + trackpad still worked as expected after reassembling. The only other advice I could offer is to mark all the screws (I have a flexible magnetic board mat designed for just such things) and pay close attention to how the Wi-Fi cable and LCD cable go through the hinge should be guided because it's so easy to get it wrong. This may seem intimidating, but all it takes is screwdrivers, patience, planning, and no distractions (like doing this after the kids have gone to bed).
