I usually wear a medium size 10.5 and got this shoe in a brown size 11. I have a similar shoe in black and was expecting the same fit and comfort. These shoes are not very comfortable. The ball of the foot is hard and thin like dress shoes, making walking uncomfortable. I was expecting more sole filling. The brown finish is a bit odd. Overall the shoe is a nice solid brown but the toe box is a darker shade of brown that has been polished. One of the shoes I received had a stain that a dark brown stained liquid fell on and spattered onto a large surface of the toe down to the laces. I think it's the stain they wipe off afterwards that is supposed to give the shoe a specific look, but I'm not a fan. The main thing I love about my other pair is that I can use black shoe polish to make them look like new again. The toes of my boots get scratched by the clutch pedal and things throughout the day and a light rub and quick cleaning will make them look new again. I expect the same from these shoes, only in brown. After a few touch-ups with brown polish, the factory stain should no longer be a problem. My main issue with these shoes is that I would wear them if I wanted the discomfort of dress shoes. I like the look of classic shoes, but I need the comfort of sneakers.
