Well my MBP Retina has had an infamous anti-glare peeling issue since mid-2014 and it's only gotten worse. Since I was no longer in Apple's repair window (which was 4 years ago) I decided to peel off the rest of the layer as much as possible. After it was taken off, the screen was a bit glossy, but also left some marks that left the screen somewhat marked, not to mention shiny. Enter this screen protector. It claims it's anti-glare due to the matte finish, it's cropped to size and would likely hide some of the remaining smudges, so I took a chance. Just received and installed it and I'm very happy with it - it's cropped to the right size (just a hair less than the screen) and it has a cutout for the front camera for a full view. The most difficult thing is cleaning the screen so that no dust remains underneath during installation. I suggest using the tape method, which helped me line up the tread when I peeled off the sticky side. There were quite a few bubbles left, but I left the computer for about an hour, returned to it, and then squeezed the bubbles out with a microfiber cloth. Overall this is a great purchase and I'm glad there are 3 in total. It makes my screen look a lot better than it really is and I can keep the screen going for a few more years!
