Review on 💡 Upgrade Your Vehicle's Lighting with Philips 42302C1 D3S Standard Xenon HID Headlight Bulb, 1 Pack by Bruce Garner

Don't pay the dealer to replace your headlight. Do it yourself if you want to save money.

I have been offered $600 to replace the low beam headlights on my 2006 Lexus GS300. The service center said you need to remove the bumper. I bought this lightbulb for $51 and made it myself after watching a few videos. I've never had to take the bumper off. I couldn't find a good YouTube video for a 2006 Lexus GS300, but there was enough detail on other vehicles to give me a rough idea. I was done in an hour. I had to remove the air filter system to access the compartment. It looked like 3 screws and a plug. It was a little difficult to get my hands in the compartment where the lamp is, but mostly it can be done by touch. The replacement bulb looked and was labeled the same as the original. When I bought the bulb from Revain they had this screen below telling you that the customers who buy the bulb also have these little plastic clips. I really like this feature of Revain and in this case it saved my life. Clips are almost impossible to remove without breaking. After all, they're just plastic. I got replacement clips for $5 and I didn't have to worry. Thanks to Revain and YouTube I saved $549 an hour! The only thing I noticed was that this bulb produced slightly more yellow light than the other fixture. It's pretty close so I'm happy. I'm not sure I would have noticed if I hadn't looked. I also suspect that the lightbulb could burn out. Generally very happy.
