It was a good idea how to mount it around the emergency light button, it's a good place on the dashboard. The problem is that it just doesn't fit the phone with a case. I removed the grips from the mount just to make the phone fit but at the expense of stability. It would also mess up my phone like touching the screen and make my phone do random things or just freeze during installation. A stumbling block to the deal was the ball joint, which kept popping out of the clamp. I probably should have just glued it on, but it just broke.
