Bolt came loose from connector while cleaning dryer duct due to improper crimping. Luckily it fell apart between the first and second pole extensions so I was able to pull out the remaining 10 foot pole and clean it with pliers. I replaced the broken bar with another one and the same thing happened to the other bar. Inspection of the connectors showed that they all have a relatively light crimp on the connectors. Some resistance to brush torque can cause the weakest coil in the chain to slip and run free, risking being pulled apart when the bar assembly is pulled out. I ran into this problem because I have a knee in the canal that can offer some resistance to the rotating brush. I do not recommend this product if your canal has kinks or kinks as this can happen and you will end up leaving some wands and brushes out of reach in the canal. (Of course, the manufacturer insists on not flipping the drill bit, as that could easily unscrew one of the connectors, again leaving some rods and a brush potentially out of reach in the canal.) In my case, I had to get the job done rather than return the product, and decided me to use a professional crimping tool to re-crimp all connectors. The product now works as it should. Compare the before and after photo of the factory crimp (small indentations on the connector) with the video showing the end result of the re-crimping.
