Ordered for my grandson. He's 100% a boy, so it suits him very well. It's soft, very soft, except for the parts that glow in the dark. It's very light so you won't want to use it as a main blanket. I was a little surprised at how thin it is, but then I decided to throw away something that can be pulled out to watch TV or whatever. it would be just perfect. It glows pretty well, but like anything that glows, it doesn't last very long. On the other hand, you still won't do it for hours. I'm sure our grandson will love it even if it's not lit. I am happy to recommend!
