Just checked in at the airport and got a call saying TSA can't open locks -- had to give them a combination on the phone, had to walk almost all the way back to check in and then back through security. NOT the best way to start a journey. Waste of money and not worth the hassle at the airport.

Excellent quality item. Very easy to install and heavier and more substantial than I expected for the price. Sure, with a hacksaw or some bolt cutters and a few minutes of hard work you can rip the wire off, but that's always the case with these things. Stylish and solid. The TSA keyhole is a nice touch. I have two problems with this product: 1) The new code setting method is inconvenient because you have to press the silver button at the bottom with the stylus while turning the dials. 2) This lock is EXTREMELY easy to pick. I would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for that. I've never picked a lock, but this one can be picked in under a minute. Just press the silver button below with your pen. Start turning the top dial until you feel a click.

I spent the morning testing my combination before a big trip and it worked PERFECTLY. HOWEVER - when I got to my hotel room late at night and tried to unlock my luggage, it didn't work. I ordered a set of 2 locks for my suitcases which I needed for an upcoming holiday. Only 1 of them worked. The paper instructions had an email address (help@travelmore.com) which they provided to contact if there were any problems with the locks which they said would send a replacement. I learned my lesson on a trip earlier this year when my old non-TSA locks were cut off on a domestic flight. A friend showed me her locks and how security can open them with a key. So I just bought them for peace of mind. I can't say much about it, except that if the US security forces want to look in your pockets, they'll pick your locks anyway, so you might have them. First we ordered a set of 4 travel locks. You look good. Continuous. We would buy them again, but not from this seller. Customer service was the ultimate issue. The locks came with instructions on how to reset the combination as well as a written assurance from the supplier that if we had a problem they would replace any lock free of charge.
