These are beautiful glasses. The glass is hard, not brittle. The base is heavy enough to stabilize the glass and the bubble inside the base is attractive. HOWEVER, if I had to repeat this purchase I would buy another product because these glasses are HUGE. They appear to have been "oversized" like many of today's portions. I was looking for a standard sized highball glass like I already have. My "ideal" glass (for iced tea, not highballs) measures 5.75 inches high and 2.5 inches in diameter. These Red Bubble glasses are 6.75 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter. Doesn't sound like much, but it is. They're much harder to hold, I'm uncomfortable. They get even heavier when filled with drinks. I often want a nice tall glass of cold milk, but these glasses hold more than I want to drink at once. My husband really liked these glasses so we didn't send them back. And if you want something in that size, then they're great. That's why I gave them 5 stars. But I wanted something lighter and more comfortable in my hand.
