I purchased this pump when my previous lake pump, sold here on revain, failed after less than 40 hours of use. This pump is lighter than the first one, seems to have as much pumping capacity, and has more than 120 hours on it pumping lake water for sprinkling my lawn and garden so far.The lake filter is about 3 feet below the pump, and I am pumping through just shy of 150' of hose with close to 20' of head height, with great flow. If I am watering a lower portion of the yard, it easily handles two sprinklers.Reviews indicate that product support for this pump is available, and parts are available for repair. The first pump had neither.Even if this pump fails during use next summer, I would still purchase it again.
