Description of ๐Ÿ”Œ 3DS LL Charging Dock Stand for Nintendo

Compatible with Nintendo 3DS XL. NOT compatible with NEW Nintendo 3DS XL. Does NOT come with a power source, but you can put original power adapter into the back of the stand. Uses the bottom part of the 3DS XL to charge so that nothing is plugged into the charger on the 3DS XL anymore. Japan Import.

Charging socket defective? No problem to buy it!

This was a real life saver for me, I was pretty sure my 3ds had died due to my charge port diving. All you have to do is install the 3ds on the base and it uses two small charging pins and you can use it while charging too! Only buy this from Nintendo as fakes are pure junk. Overall, I'm glad this product exists!

It's very convenient to just pick up the XL and get started

Whilst the dock itself is fairly basic it works well. Very practical, just lift the XL and you're done. It's not as cheap as others have said, and it doesn't slide around my desk at all. However, it does NOT come with a cable, so you can make sure you have an AC adapter or USB charging cable.

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • I'll write back

Brand new, imported from Japan, works great with 3DS XL, sold in America

Ideal for OEM products. It's basically the same thing sold on Nintendo's own website, but it's imported so the packaging isn't in English and the price is competitive. I recommend a charging station for your XL because it saves time when you just want to pick it up and go. It also reduces wear and tear on the system's power cord and charging port.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

By Nintendo & Works with American 3DS XL

Perfect fit for Nintendo's American 3DS XL. I have a 3DS XL with a broken charging port and it needs to be held in the correct position to charge at all. With this charging station I can now easily charge it and it gives kids a permanent place for their 3DS XL. If you have a 3DS XL with a broken charging port or kids and your port isn't broken yet, I would suggest getting one. They really should have sold them in the US.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Security

The charger is very useful if your 3ds doesn't have a case

I find this to be a very useful charger. I love that I can just plug in and charge my 3ds xl without plugging in the system myself. (The charging station plugs into the wall.) The only downside I've found is that if you have a 3ds case like me, you have to remove the case before charging. I only have the Duraflexi protection for Nintendo 3DS XL - sure, but I have yet to remove it or the 3ds will not sit properly on the dock.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No

Unreliable but functional

Compared to the stand that came with the full-size 3DS at launch, this stand is fairly light and cheap. However, it matches the 3DS XL very well and would be better off next to a bed or on a desk than a loose cord that's constantly falling to the floor. It's slightly tilted and features a headphone cutout to make it easier to watch videos while charging. It really isn't worth paying extra to import from Japan, but if you need a 3DS XL stand, this is your only option.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Official Nintendo, yes for 3DS XL ALSO

Like many, I am completely puzzled why there are no charging stations for 3DS XL in the US. There are different charging pads for every other model, but these have not been approved for the XL even by third-party manufacturers. Size XL has been out for a long time, it just doesn't make much sense. Nintendo briefly offered an American version of this booth to Club Nintendo members who redeemed reward points for them, but it never reappeared. This is an official Nintendo product but it is fromโ€ฆ

Simple and practical charging stand

Excellent docking station. This is an OEM dock from Nintendo and works great; Simply connect the charger (not included) to the back. When you want to charge your 3DS XL, just place it in the dock and it activates some springs and shoots out the back to charge your device. The device has some cutouts and is positioned at the right angle. So if you want to play the 3DS while it's charging on the dock you can hold it, although it's a bit awkward. The package it came in was Japanese. It makes sense

Pros
  • While satisfied
Cons
  • disappears

I finally found the cradle!

I bought the 3DS XL and didn't like the charger being plugged into the back of the device the whole time. When I found out cradles existed, I decided I really wanted them. I've noticed that Club Nintendo has offered color versions to its members in the past, and I've accumulated a lot of points, so I've waited a bit to see if they ever become available. Unfortunately not. Also, I've read that they disappeared within an hour or so of being originally listed, so who knows if I might have evenโ€ฆ
