Review on OEM Mopar Jeep Gladiator Door Sill Guards for Enhanced Protection and Style by Larry Daniels

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Directions that I would like to receive along with this one.

Overall a great product but one of those you will learn more about AFTER installation. So I will try to help others. Your grip is excellent. It's a bit mysterious because once you place them, they won't move. Not even a little bit. Here's what I did with 3 of the 4 guards.1. Cleaning is easy. There aren't enough alcohol wipes to clean even a lightly soiled car, even if you washed your Jeep before installing it. So have some paper towels and isopropyl alcohol handy. Decide where the window sills will sit.3. After that, hold the protective cover with your thumb and then pull out the adhesive protective cover by first pulling the adhesive cover from the inside of the vehicle. The red plastic cover is easy to remove and your protection is right where you need it.4. By pulling the adhesive strip inside the car, you can pull out the remaining strip. It is important that you first pull out the strip closest to the car, otherwise that strip will stick to the car and the other one will not come out. I didn't follow these instructions and am now considering paying for a whole new set as I figured the tape would at least adjust a little after light contact with the car. (No, it stays where I posted it.) I hope this helps at least one person as they are great, but the instructions are a little weak. They're probably great for a certified jeep mechanic who does this day in and day out. That's not me.
