Review on EasyMountLCD Articulating Heavy Duty Standing 002 0033 by Kandi Villanueva

Much better than 2 monitors

This is for the 4 monitor version (1 instead of 3) on a stand. I've been using this for a while now and it's amazing. I have a corner desk and used to have 2 monitors but wanted to upgrade for gaming reasons. It can be attached to the table in a number of ways, either by drilling a hole in the table and using a screw with load distribution plate, or by using a weighted base. I'm currently using a weighted base because I wanted to test the placement and make sure I'm happy before I poke a hole in my desk. It's been quite a while and I haven't moved it since day one (when I moved it a lot) so I think this weekend will be the time to get my drill out. The stand was easy to assemble, as was the hardware to attach the monitors to the stand. By the way, I used 4 Asus VS228H-P widescreen computer monitors with a diagonal of 21.5 inches and LED backlighting. The only problem I have is that there is a screw on the middle monitor mount to adjust the monitor up and down and it didn't work. The reason is that the instructions are a bit misleading and I didn't set it up properly. There is a vertical screw on the bracket in the middle, and the screw at the end needs to be tightened (it came loose during shipping and was lost at the bottom of the box). Once I tightened this nut the regulator worked and I was able to easily line it up. It's been about a month and there hasn't been any sagging or alignment issues. Everything stays as it should be. I'm happy so far.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Sad hardware
