The only problem with the drain is that it claims to evaporate 98% of the moisture through the hood. I am calling bs from this site. There is an option to move the block in or out of the drain and pull the plug out (which I did the first time) and about 12 ounces came out. Noted that the inner pan is quite small. I had to keep it running 24/7 without shutting down due to a full swamp. I took an old washing machine drain hose and cut it to about 18 inches. Drain the water into a 4 gallon Home Depot bucket located next to the machine. This bucket fills up in about 2-3 days on a low setting, depending on how hot it is. It's a lot easier to take out the bucket every few days than hanging the unit by the window and rolling it out every few hours.
